~ Susan L. Taylor
I call it brain clutter. It arises when our outside world is in a state of chaos and busyness. I know this well! Anyone who really knows me know that I am always "busy". I'm sure I'm not the only one. At any given time, I am usually busy with multiple projects along with and outside of my paid job. Again, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I've learned, however, that we do have to stop for our own good and get rid of the brain clutter. When there are a million things going through your mind, you cannot hear the most important things. The brain is a working organism that needs time to relax and regroup. We need to be still, and be quiet, in order for our brains to receive what is being placed in our spirits. We won't see it, we won't hear it, we won't know it, if we don't simply take time to stop!
"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10
Relax. Give your brain a break!
